Critters

javelina - <span>Javelina in Chisos Mountains, technically known as Collared Peccary</span>

Horned Lizard - <span>Big Bend still has the Texas Horned Lizard, aka "Horny Toad" </span>
Tarantula - <span>Those these large desert spiders appear ferocious, and though they have sharp fangs, they only bite if severely provoked and they have no venom. </span>
Millipede - <span>Millipedes are a common desert invertebrate that often appear after rain showers flood their burrows. The emit a foul substance that makes them unpalatable to birds and other potential predators. They are harmless to humans as long as not ingested. </span>
