Mad Max - www.martinranch.comTour Guide, Ranch Owner, Cowboy, Texan, Sharp Shooter, Navigator, Handy Man.This guy was responsible for our lovely desert accomodations last week inside Big Bend National Park. He supplied the camper, 4x4 that could go anywhere, local Texas knowledge, and a million laughs. The ultimate conversationalist, we got into one argument that I'm sure that I am right about. He also supplied an arsenal for our protection, just in case. Just a week earlier, there was a mountain lion attack inside the park, and of course, we were right on the border.Taken at the Marsical Mine, abandoned since 1943 (extracted ore/cinnabon/mercury from the earth)
